We also know that you may have to report the others on the progress of your project. In order to make this task easier, ProGroup Contracting provides daily progress reports from your own project manager guaranteeing that you know every detail as it happens.

President, ProGroup Contracting
Dave Moura, President of ProGroup Contracting (a licensee of CertaPro Painters®), founded his painting and repair company in 1992 and now operates the second largest franchise of CertaPro Painters in the country. While based in Massachusetts, ProGroup services regional and national commercial accounts, such as The Home Depot, BJ’s, McDonald’s, Uno Pizzeria & Grill, Ritz Carlton as well as many institutions in the educational and healthcare sectors. Under his leadership, Dave’s franchise has won numerous awards for outstanding overall client service as well as outstanding service for commercial clients with multiple locations. The company has long upheld a commitment to streamlining painting, maintenance and repair jobs and deliver unmatched project management to its clients, both big and small. Dave is a member of the International Facility Management Association, Painting & Decorating Contractors of America and the Community Associations Institute and is a Friend of the Institute of Real Estate Management. He is consistently active in giving back to the local community through donated painting and repair services along with art supplies and classroom necessities to in-need schools. He is an active supporter of the Marion Institute, a non-profit located in Marion, MA. Dave has also provided makeovers to private homes and hospitals such as Jeremiah’s Project and Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center.
Matt is experienced in all phases of commercial painting, having worked as a painter, crew leader and in quality control inspection. He has an in-depth knowledge of coatings including epoxies, enamels, DTM, urethanes, acrylics and more. He has worked on a wide variety of commercial projects for such clients as Titleist, Home Depot, Burger King and McDonald’s. A member of the Plymouth, Hyannis, New Bedford and Attleboro Chamber of Commerce, Matt’s duties include project management, estimating and business development.
VP of Key Accounts
As Vice President of Key Accounts for Southeastern Massachusetts ProGroup Contracting® Commercial Painting, Joann specializes in serving large commercial clients as well as commercial clients with multiple locations. Her ability to guide clients through the most demanding and challenging projects has enabled Joann to build long-lasting professional relationships with customers. She works with her dedicated Operations Manager to ensure all of our clients are seamlessly guided through the painting process and receive the highest level of service in the industry. Recently, Joann was honored as the National ProGroup Contracting Commercial Sales Associate of the Year for her outstanding commitment to the client service and satisfaction. She is a Friend of the Institute of Real Estate Management and a member of the International Facility Management Association, the Painting & Decorating Contractors of America, and the Community Association Institute.
VP of Administration & Finance
As Vice President of Administration & Finance for ProGroup Contracting® , Sherrie is responsible for all the financial aspects of the business as well as HR, legal, IT, and general administration. She helped develop the nationally recognized ProGroup Contracting Production System which is used by all the ProGroup Contracting franchises across the United States. Her approach to production management features an innovative and flexible system that adapts to meet the specific needs of the individual clients on all types of projects. Honored as the National ProGroup Contracting Production Associate of the Year in 2004, Sherrie also assisted the ProGroup Contracting Corporate Development Team in the creation of an office manager training program used by franchises nationwide.
VP of Business Development
As Vice President of Business Development, Jason is responsible for servicing existing commercial accounts all while introducing ProGroup Contracting services to new commercial business. His ability to build strong relationships has proven very effective in establishing a high level of customer satisfaction. He also mentors and manages our other Business Development staff to service clients at the same high level he has been successful in doing. He is active in the Institute of Real Estate Management, International Facility Management Association, and The Cancer Society. He has won the National ProGroup Contracting Commercial Sales Associate of the Year in both 2009 and 2010.
As Business Development for ProGroup Contracting® , Brian is also responsible for introducing services to new commercial business. His past experience in sales makes him a valuable asset to our team, and we are very excited to continue learning his strengths as he helps us grow.
As Office Manager for ProGroup Contracting , Maggie works closely with all members of the staff. She is in charge of payroll, accounts payable and receivable as well as purchase order generation. Maggie is one of the “behind the scenes” professionals who makes certain that every ProGroup Contracting® project runs smoothly.
Brandon is a 2011 graduate from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture. During his time with us, Brandon has already proven himself to be quite an asset to our team by showing a strong ability to read and understand complex plans and projects. We are really looking forward to continuing to help Brandon hone his skills in the painting industry and are confident he will continue to be an integral part of our estimating team.
As our Marketing Director, Courtney is responsible for overseeing the brand strategy as well as the everyday marketing activities at ProGroup Contracting® . She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University located in Boston, MA, and has extensive experience in working with large brands in both the beverage and consumer electronics industries. Her in-depth knowledge and experience with numerous media platforms allows her the ability to run multiple successful campaigns both locally and nationally.
VP of Operations
Tim graduated from New Bedford High School, and soon after he started working as a retail manager at Circuit City for a span of fourteen years. Tim first came to ProGroup Contracting® a few years ago, but left to pursue another opportunity in the electronics retail field at Best Buy where he served a as a general manager for seven years. Now Tim is back at ProGroup Contracting to provide his expertise and leadership skills in our Operations Department.
Local Business Development
Joel started of his education attending school in West Reading, Pennsylvania and eventually making his way to Massachusetts. Joel has been in the painting business for forty plus years and nine of those have been with ProGroup Contracting® . Before working for ProGroup Contracting, Joel was a Sales Representative for Gemini coating, Devoe coating and ICI paints. Primarily, Joel would sell to industrial and commercial clients. Joel has a vast wealth of experience to draw from, making him a valued member of the ProGroup Contracting Team.
Lead Project Manager
Danny has been with ProGroup Contracting® since 2000 and in that time he has worked as a painter, a crew leader and has since been promoted to Road Supervisor. His extensive experience in the field has helped develop many production teams. His capacity to hire and train painters has proven very beneficial.
Amanda graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Engineering. Since 2006 Amanda has been part of the ProGroup Contracting® team. Starting off as a Telemarketer and working her way up to Operations Manager, Amanda’s career has truly blossomed. She plays a vital role in all aspects of the business from Customer Service & Operations, to Sales and Marketing, Amanda does it all – and with a smile!
Taryn attended the University of South Florida’s School of Mass Communications in Tampa, Florida. She works hand-in-hand with the sales and marketing departments at ProGroup Contracting, helping to brand the name not only in the New England area, but nationally. As ProGroup Contracting’s Marketing Assistant, Taryn assists the Marketing Director on a variety of day to day tasks while also managing the company’s social media sites, writing Local Color (the in-house company newsletter) along with “Taryn’ It Up”, the company blog.
Director of Residential Services
Eric studied Electronic Engineering at the New England Institute of Technology in Rhode Island and has over 15 years of Sales Management experience with Circuit City and Best Buy. As the Director of Residential Services at ProGroup Contracting, Eric is responsible for visiting properties and gathering all of the necessary information needed to accurately estimate the scope of work that has to be completed.
Jenn earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. With her 6 plus years of operations experience from Best Buy, Jenn now works alongside our VP of Operations on a daily basis. As ProGroup Contracting’s Production Manager, she is responsible for making sure the Project Managers are on track, managing their schedules and making sure they have all of the resources they need for their daily projects.
Sales and Marketing Specialist
Before starting with ProGroup Contracting, Paul earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Rutger’s University in New Jersey and gained over 10 years of experience in sales from multiple positions. As the Sales and Marketing Specialist, he is responsible for gaining new business leads for the company, building relationships with future clients, and keeping track of numerous directories.
Matt has been with ProGroup Contracting since 2007. While he was still in school, he started out as a helper, learning the ins and outs of painting and more about the business. Matt has now worked his way up to a Project Manager, responsible for making sure the properties he is assigned are completed to the utmost satisfaction. Having worked in different positions throughout his years at the company, Matt has a wide range of knowledge in all of the services ProGroup provides.
Starting off as a carpenter, Phil has been with ProGroup Contracting since 2010. He is now a Project Manager, responsible for making sure the properties he is assigned are completed to the utmost satisfaction. Some of his duties include making sure each job site is organized, all of the field staff and equipment is present and guaranteeing it is all completed on time.
